Millichap Fellowship Program is a rigorous 24-month training and development program for up-and-coming commercial real estate professionals. Our vision is to unleash the potential of ambitious people from all backgrounds by combining their unique experiences with MarcusMillichap’s resources to positively impact our clients and communities. Our mission is to arm these future leaders with the training, coaching, tools, and resources they need to excel in their career journey and confidently deliver exceptional results. We are committed to providing a strong educational foundation during the Fellowship, leading by example and shaping the next generation of commercial real estate leaders. HISTORY William A. Millichap The Fellowship honors the late William A. Millichap, co-founder of MarcusMillichap and a driving force behind the company’s advancement in innovation, leadership, and technology. Mr. Millichap was president and director of the firm from 1985 to 2000 and was the managing partner of Marcus amp; Millichap Venture Partners (MMVP). He was also one of the founders of San Jose National Bank and the Mid-Peninsula Bank of Commerce, and served on the board of directors for Essex Property Trust, the National Multifamily Housing Council, and LoopNet, Inc. He remained dedicated to Marcus amp; Millichap and served as co-chairman of the board until his passing in June 2020. Mr. Millichap is remembered for being innovation-focused and playing a key role in the professionalization and technical evolution of the commercial brokerage industry.
